Ensiko means Jungle in the local language Luganda. Ensiko is a luxurious Eco Lodge situated deep in the Nature of Kibale Forest, bordering directly to the forest.
To Kanyanchu Gate it is only 10 Minutes and to Bigodi only 8 Minutes to drive on a well-maintained road. Different Monkeys and Birds can be spotted any time on the plot.
An ideal place for Birding, Chimpanzee Tracking, Nature Walks, Community / Cultural Activities.
We are fully solar powered.
For hot water we use instant gas heaters for a comfortable 24 hour hot water supply.
Our towels and beddings are from finest Egyptian Cotton.
Our Restaurant will surprise you with delicious meals, home made pasta, home baked German style bread, all matching your preferences and dietary restrictions.

- We offer 8 spacious, comfortable, in a rustic African style designed Guest Cottages of about 64 sqm.
- All rooms offer privacy with a big private veranda and jungle views.
- Each cottage is equipped with a spacious dressing area, a comfortable lounge area and an ensuite bathroom with 24 hours hot water supply for shower and basin.
- Every cottage can be booked as single, double , triple or quadruple room , as each has a king-size, a queen-size and sofa bed. All 2 m long.
- The Main House offers reception, restaurant, bar, a spacious veranda with indoor and outdoor chimney and free WIFI.
- We use solar power and instant gas heaters for warm water
