About Us
Jones Tugume + Isolde Nowak
are the The Directors and Designers of this luxurious Eco Lodge.
Travelling, wildlife and nature are the passion of both.
Jones studied tourism and has a background as Ranger, specialised on Birding, Wildlife and Primates.
Isolde studied Computer Sciences, has a background as Interior Designer and Photographer.
During numerous Uganda trips, they fell in love with the Kibale region and started to develop and carry out the dream of a Jungle Lodge in this area.
Soon a plot was found bordering the forest in the middle of nature and the construction project started early 2025.
As Ensiko means Jungle in the Ugandan Language Luganda, the perfect name for the lodge was found.
Their aim is to offer every guest a maximum comfort, perfect service and excellent cuisine combined with wildlife, birding, hiking or community experiences.
